Following the lead of WPP Group [WAMN: 21-May-02], agency holding company Bcom3 Group has fired Arthur Andersen as its auditor.

The group replaced Andersen, accused of complicity in the Enron scandal, with Ernst & Young on May 23. E&Y is the auditor for Publicis Groupe, currently in the process of acquiring Bcom3.

Andersen’s woes do not stop there: interactive shop Modem Media dropped it in favour of PricewaterhouseCoopers on May 28, while two more of its big agency clients, Omnicom Group and Havas, have announced they are considering new auditors.
