Dublin’s Young Advertising has become part of Boston-based network Arnold Worldwide.

Young – one of Ireland’s larger agencies, specialising in traditional media campaigns – was already owned by Arnold parent Havas Advertising, and has been shifted from the latter’s Diversified Agencies Group.

The Irish shop’s clients include Danish shoe company Ecco, Castrol, Bulmers, Mercedes-Benz and Mazda.

Arnold – which also has agencies in England, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Spain and France – has been expanding rapidly of late, absorbing New York’s Jordan McGrath Case & Partners, McKinney & Silver in Raleigh, North Carolina, Simmons Durham in St Louis and Australian shop Brandhouse since the start of the year. It is also in talks with agencies in South America, Asia and elsewhere in the US.
