BACKGROUND

This is a peculiar case history in that its conception was in a hospital clinic.In 1991 Jeremy Prescot, Managing Director of Kilmartin Baker, was visiting Charing Cross Hospital for his annual check-up. He, himself, has diabetes. He became involved in long discussions with Dr Dev Singh and Dr Peter Wise who were both concerned by the late diagnosis of non-insulin dependent diabetes.
