In an address to the 1,000 delegates at the Interactive Advertising Bureau's (IAB) 2014 Annual Leadership Meeting, Bob Liodice identified three "winning" characteristics that distinguish the work of the most effective marketers:

  • Big insights
  • Purposeful positioning
  • Total experience

These attributes were uncovered in a study sponsored by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) – of which Liodice is president/ceo – and conducted by New York-based marketing strategists EffectiveBrands.
