One of the most significant problems facing the health care and scientific communities is the continuous challenge of diseases becoming resistant to the drugs designed to cure them, especially for serious gram-positive infections. In developing countries, malaria and tuberculosis continues to devastate populations as they developed resistance to current drugs.
