This month, mineral water Aqua is the brand which has achieved the highest uplift in its Ad Awareness over the past month in Indonesia.

The rise coincides with its #BijakBerPlastik campaign, showing its plastic bottles as Indonesia’s first 100% recyclable plastic. The campaign highlights the brand's commitment of solving the problem of plastic waste in Indonesia.

Launched a month ago, the advertisement features a plastic bottle being recycled and reused in different situations – on the go, at a yoga class, going hiking and even at a proposal. The video has gathered over 3 million views on YouTube alone.


YouGov BrandIndex data shows that Aqua’s ads have captured Indonesians attention. Aqua’s Ad Awareness score (whether someone has seen an advert for the brand in the past two weeks) has risen from 46.2 to 54.8, jumping +8.6 points.

Indonesian consumers are not only noticing Aqua ads, the brand has also seen an increase in Buzz, with their score on this metric jumping from 49.7 to 57.1. The increase of +7.4 points indicates that more people are talking about the brand in the past month.
