As reported yesterday, you now have a few extra days to get your entries in to the Warc Prize for Ideas and Evidence: the deadline has been extended to June 2nd.

The jury for the $10,000 prize, which is free to enter, is headed by Alex Bogusky, chief creative insurgent of MDC Partners, and also includes representatives from Nokia, Coca-Cola, Ogilvy & Mather Beijing and Havas Digital.

In other news, SparkPHD has won Media Agency of the Year at the CAANZ Media Awards, one of New Zealand's premier ad events.

On the client side, MSN NZ won Media Brand of the Year. Best in Show went to DraftFCB Media for its Whitcoulls Book Initiative, praised by the jury for its "precise marrying of message and moment".

The campaign, which also won gold awards in the Best Use of Television and Best Response / ROI categories, targeted different book recommendations to various TV shows, maximising Whitcoulls' sales during the holiday period.

Awards have also been handed out as part of the FIAP 10 festival, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Marketingdirecto.com reports agencies from the host nation were top-ranked at the ceremony, winning two grands prix, 10 golds, 23 silvers and 36 bronzes. Agencies from Brazil and Spain were ranked in second and third places respectively.
