Warc this week announces the full judging line-up for the Warc Prize for Asian Strategy, our award for the best strategic thinking in Asia. It's a heavyweight bunch of executives, and should bring a good range of opinions to the judging process in a few months' time.

In putting together the judging panel, we wanted to include a number of elements. Clearly, number one was experience working with Asian consumers and brands, and for this reason we've focused heavily on Asia-based clients from a number of industries. We have very senior executives from Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Kraft, Prudential, Converse, Eastman Kodak, SABMiller and Shangri-La Hotels.

However, we also wanted to bring a global point of view to the fray, so we invited a number of strategy experts from outside Asia to take part. These are people we feel have seen some of the best work around the world and will be able to judge papers from Asia in a global light. These include Gareth Kay of Goodby Silverstein & Partners, James Best, formerly of DDB, and Kevin Brown of BBH. From the media side of the fence we welcome Mike Cooper of PHD, and from the digital arena we have Jean Lin of Isobar. For full details of the judging line-up, see the dedicated site.

We're confident this mix will bring real expertise to the judging. Whoever wins the US$5,000 prize will certainly have earned it.

The Prize is open to entries now, with a closing date of 18th March. Entries should be uploaded online at www.warc.com/asiaprize. Stay tuned for more updates as the Prize unfolds, or email warcprizeasia@warc.com if you have any questions.
