The full list of winners of the 2011 North American Effies have been revealed, and it's great news for BBDO Worldwide. The agency network beat out its rivals by winning 12 awards - including four for BBDO New York - with Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett the second and third most-successful networks on nine and eight wins respectively.

But full details on who won gold, silver and bronze prizes in individual categories will have to wait until the Effies awards ceremony takes place in New York on June 7th. The Global Effie awards, a separate competition, will be handed out at the same event.

On the client side, Old Spice is the leading Effies brand in 2011, with four wins. All four are for the "The man your man could smell like" campaign, covered in depth by Warc's US editor here. It's a sign of the times that three of these awards are not for the campaign's already-iconic TV spots, but for "The man your man could smell like responds to the internet", a social media-focused initiative featuring YouTube videos of the TV ads' hero answering questions sent in by Twitter fans.

Other top performing brands include Snickers, Toyota, U by Kotex and Walgreens, which all won three North American Effies. Campaigns for Wrigley's 5 Gum, IBM, and Snickers' "You're not you when you're hungry" all won Global Effie awards.
