LONDON: Senior executives from Visa and Diageo, as well as global agency leaders from digital and strategic roles are joining the judging panel for the Effective Use of Tech category in the WARC Media Awards, announced today.

The WARC Media Awards are a comprehensive set of awards with a $40,000 prize fund that rewards pioneering communications planning which has made a positive impact on business results for brands around the world.

Andres Polo, Vice President, Digital Marketing at Visa, Latin America and the Caribbean Region, will be chairing the judging panel.

Joining him from the client side will be Sonja Vessel, Senior Manager of International Market Communications, Deutsche Telekom, and Ben Sutherland, Chief Digital Officer at Diageo.

On the agency side of the panel, judges include Helen Lin, President, Digital Investment & Global Partnerships at Publicis Media, where she manages the entire network’s digital negotiations and investments. In addition, Starcom’s Global Chief Experience Officer, Bohb Blair and Deutsch North America’s Chief Digital Officer Winston Binch join form the US.

From an insight background, Jeremy Sy, Partner, Southeast Asia & Global Practice Lead, Innovation, at Kantar Consulting will join the panel.

Entry to the Awards is free and papers submitted as effectiveness case studies are welcomed from any territory or discipline. Further details, including entry kit and entry form, can be found on the WARC Media Awards website.

The deadline for entries is 19 September. There are four categories: Effective Use of Tech, Best Use of Data, Effective Channel Integration and Effective Use of Partnerships and Sponsorships.
