Fundación Huésped, an Argentine NGO health organization that focuses much of its work on HIV/AIDS, took top honors last night at the 2020 ANA International ECHO Awards ceremony, held during the ANA Masters of Data and Technology Conference in Orlando.

The organization won the Diamond ECHO Award, which recognizes a data-inspired advertising/marketing campaign that best represents the highest standards of strategic and creative excellence combined with clear and measurable market performance.

“HIV on the Agenda,” created by Fundación Huésped’s agency Wunderman BA, coincided with the G20 meeting that took place in Buenos Aires last year and was designed to get world leaders gathered there to place the HIV issue on the summit’s agenda.

It featured a unique installation specially designed for outside the summit in which the 20 flags of the G20 countries rose and fell representing a dynamic bar graph that compared the HIV statistics of each nation.

Additionally, in an award sponsored by the United States Postal Service (USPS), electronic security company ADT won the Gold Mailbox Award, a special commendation that recognizes the most innovative use of mail, whether as a solo effort or a major component of an integrated campaign.

This year’s competition attracted over 400 entries from 22 different countries, and each region of the globe was represented with entries. There was a total of 89 winners in 31 categories who received gold, silver and bronze awards. More than 400 marketing executives representing 23 countries served as judges for the competition.
