Nigel M. Healey is Professor of Business Economics and Dean of Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. His research interests are in the area of international business and global interdependence, with a particular emphasis on the impact of economic and monetary integration within the EU. He has served as an economic policy advisor to, among others, governments in Russia and Belarus and been a visiting Professor at universities in the United States, China and eastern Europe.
