Choon-ryeol Ryu is an associate professor in the school of communication, Kookmin University, Seoul, Korea. He has MA and PhD from the department of communication studies, Iowa University. His research interests are in media studies. Before joining the faculty at Kookmin University, he was a Research Fellow at Korea Information Society Development Institute.
