Douglas A. Ferguson is professor and chair of Communication at the College of Charleston (South Carolina). His research interests include audience behavior and new media technologies. He received his Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Bowling Green State University and has produced over 13 refereed journal articles and 3 books on the television industry.
