Thomas E Barry is Associate Dean and professor of marketing in the Edwin L Cox Scool of Business at Southern Methodist University. He has a PhD in marketing from the University of North Texas. Dr Barry's research interests are in advertising management. He has published extensively in the Journal of Advertising Research, the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Advertising, Current Issues and Research in Advertising and the International Journal of Advertising, among others. He is the author of a marketing text and coauthor of an advertising management text.
