Sandra E Moriarty

The author is a professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder where she teaches in the Integrated Marketing Communication graduate program. She has also taught at Michigan State University and the University of Kansas. She has owned her own public relations and advertising agency, worked as a copywriter and public relations consultant and served as director of a university publications program. In addition to an extensive list of articles in both scholarly and trade journals, she is the author or co-author of eight books. She has presented seminars and workshops or consulted in the United States and around the world with such organizations as Nestlé, Dentsu and BBDO-Europe, and numerous agencies and clients. She has journalism degrees from the University of Missouri (BJ) and Kansas State University (MS) and a PhD in instructional communication from Kansas State.
