James Peltier

James (Jimmy) Peltier is the Arno Kleimenhagen Pro­fessor of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin­Whitewater. He is also director of research for Knupp & Watson Advertising, Marketing, and Public Rela. tions, Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin and is president of APR Research. Dr. Peltier has many award-winning papers in the area of databased communications and is a past recipient of the Outstanding Educator Award sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association Educa­tional Foundation (DMEF). He is also on the Board of Trustees for the DMEF. He has published articles in the Journal of Advertising Research, the International Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Interactive Mar­keting, among many others. He has authored over 45 journal publications, including how to harness the power of databases for developing longitudinal com­munications, personalizing relationships, increasing customer value, and enhancing profitability through successful cross-selling.
