Christian Derbaix

Christian Derbaix is a professor and head of the Marketing Department at the Catholic University of Mons (FUCaM, Belgium) and director of the Laboratory for Consumer Behavior Analysis (LABACC). He is cur­rently president of the French Marketing Association. His research interests focus on the measurement of affective reactions elicited by commercials, the study of children’s consumer behavior, and symbolic con­sumption by soccer fans. Dr. Derbaix’s work has appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Advertising Research, the International Jour­nal of Research in Marketing, Psychology and Marketing, Advances in Consumer Research, the Journal of Economic Psychology, and elsewhere.
