Scot Burton is professor
and Wal-Mart Chair in the Department of Marketing and Transportation of the Sam
M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. His research
interests include pricing and promotion issues, public policy and consumer
welfare concerns, and survey research measurement issues. His work has been
published in the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research, the
Journal of Consumer Research, the journal
of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Retailing, the Journal of Public Policy
& Marketing, Public Opinion Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human
Decision Processes, and other journals.
