Michelle
R. Nelson is an assistant professor in journalism and mass communication
at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She received her Ph.D. in 1997
from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Her research interests
include advertising, product placement, and consumer behavior. Previously, she
worked as Head of Marketing at MathEngine, PLC, a game–technology
company based in Oxford, England.
