Sheri Thompson Carder (Ph.D. University of Southern Mississippi) is associate Professor of Business at Lake City Community College. Her interests include examining the prevalence and effectiveness of product placement and portrayal of women in advertising. Her work has appeared in several regional and national proceedings as well as the Journal of Promotion Management.
