Sejung Marina Choi

Sejung Marina Choi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. She received her M.A. in Advertising and her Ph.D. in Mass Media both from Michigan State University. Her current research interests are in the areas of social alliances between companies and nonprofit organizations, crosscultural consumer behavior, and social influences of celebrities. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Interactive Advertising, among others, and various conference proceedings. Prior to her graduate degrees, she worked in the advertising agency business, particularly in account management.
