Kjell
Grønhaug is Professor of Business Administration at the Norwegian School of
Economics and Business Administration, Bergen-Sandviken. He is also Adjunct
Professor at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, and
an honorary doctor at Turki School of Economics and Business Administration. He
has acted as a consultant to business and government institutions both in Norway
and abroad, and over the years he has been involved in a number of research
projects including marketing problems, corporate strategy, industry studies and
evaluation studies. His publications include numerous articles in leading
American and European journals and contributions to many international
conference proceedings. He is also a recipient of the prize for excellence in
research awarded every five years at his institution. He is the author or
co-author of 15 books, most recently Research
Methods in Business Studies (2002), and Qualitative Marketing Research (2001).
