Jennie Beck

Jennie Beck has joined NFO BJM as Media Research Director. Jennie ran her own media consultancy business for 12 years prior to joining NFO WorldGroup in August.

Jennie began her career marketing and researching a national Sunday paper and in 1989 set up Beck Consultancy, specialising in providing qualitative and quantitative media and advertising research, brainstorming and strategic consultancy to all sides of the media and communications industry.

She is a full member of the Market Research Society and a member of the Media Research Group and the Association of Qualitative Research.

She is currently Vice Chairman of the MRS and Chair of their Professional Standards Advisory Board, having chaired the MRS Professional Standards Committee from 1998 to 2002. She is a frequent speaker, writer and trainer on media research and ethical industry issues – most recently running Data Protection Workshops for the MRS, chairing the 2002 ADMAP/WARC Media Research Seminar and the opening session on Ethical Market Research at Research 2001 and speaking at the World Association of Newspapers 2001 Editors and Marketers Conference.
