Educated at the University of Chicago and then Columbia, Alex was associate director of research with Leo Burnett in Chicago before becoming head of research at Ogilvy & Mather New York. He then worked for O&M in Europe, and served as international director of research in Canada before becoming managing director of Ogilvy and Mather in Montreal.
