Paul Sumner

Paul Sumner has an honours degree in Mathematics from Durham, and a Master’s in Statistics from Nottingham, In 1966 he joined ICL and became Chief Programmer with a special responsibility for mathematical models. In 1968 he accepted an invitation from the legendary S H Benson advertising agency to introduce computerised media research and analysis. He was subsequently appointed Technical Director at Peter Masson & Partners and Marketing Director at Newsweek International where, for 10 years, he continued his work on world–wide surveys. He is currently an international lecturer and consultant on computer programming and news media research.
