Stephen King

    Stephen King is now a non-executive Director of WPP Group plc. having spent most of his working life at J Walter Thompson, where he started in the Marketing Department and was responsible for setting up the agency's Account Planning department, the first in UK advertising.  He was Chairman of JWT's research subsidiary, MRB Group from 1979 to 1986, and more recently was responsible for the development of market modelling and the agency's use of computers.
