Vittorio Radice is chief executive of Selfridges plc. After a successful four year stint at Habitat, turning losses of £7 million into profits of £14 million, Vittorio joined Selfridges as managing director in 1996. He has drawn much of his inspiration for the new Selfridges from the founder himself, Gordon Selfridge, who saw the department store as a vibrant community centre at the heart of urban living
