William D. Wells is the Mithun Land Grant Professor Emeritus in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities. Before joining the Minnesota faculty, he was executive vice president and director of marketing service in the Chicago office of DDB Worldwide.
