Steven J. Dick is an assistant professor at the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. After working several years in public broadcasting and earning a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, he began his academic career at McNeese State University, Louisiana. In 1997 he joined the faculty of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he currently teaches and conducts research at the School of Mass Communication and Media Arts. Professor Dick specializes in new technologies and media management.
