Osei Appiah (Ph.D., Stanford University) is an assistant professor at the Greenlee school of Journalism aid Communication at Iowa state University. His professional experience include a market research at Yankelovich Partners, Inc., product marketing aid customer research at Apple computer. Inc., and sports marketing at Nike, Inc. He has also worked as a professor–in–residence and a multi–cultural media consultant for Ogilvy & Mather. Dr. Appiah's male research interests are in advertising effects on ethnic minorities, and media effects on children and adolescents.
