In September 1999, The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail entered into a unique partnership to create a new career site on the Internet. Two months later Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto was awarded the advertising assignment for a project codenamed 'CareersX.com.' The agency had less than twelve weeks to develop the brand identity, positioning, and creative for a late January launch (Crossover Note 1)....
