Advertising spend in five key Western European economies (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy) is forecast to collectively achieve €99bn in 2023, with the UK leading in both the volume of spend and year-on-year growth, according to the latest WARC Media advertising forecasts.
The UK ad market is forecast to grow to £36bn (€39bn) in 2023, supported by a robust search market that is expected to achieve £14bn (€16bn) and grow at 6%, just behind online video/OTT (7.6%), social media (7.5%), and online audio (6.4%).
