Executive summary

Globe Telecom – in collaboration with the Department of Education and Facebook – launched the cyber-safety initiative, Digital Thumbprint Programme (DTP), in the Philippines.

DTP is the award-winning idea of SingTel-owned mobile operator Optus, which was first deployed in Australia. It was designed to increase high school students' knowledge of digital citizenship and cyber safety by taking a critical look at their online behaviour and helping them develop insights into the influences of the online world and the choices they were making.
