More and more people are using the services to skip through ad breaks: bad news for marketers. But the research suggests that viewers are actually quite open to advertising. For its part, UM has built VoDio, a tool that analyses the effectiveness of campaigns on VOD users, and launched in September 2010. The service was built using data from Matrix, a proprietary tool that evaluates multi-media reach. Information from VoDio allows agencies to make more "informed" planning decisions, it is claimed....
