More than half of Instagram and TikTok's user base is female while YouTube's audience leans towards men, according to data from influencer marketing management company HypeAuditor.
For Instagram, 53.6% of its users are female and 46.4% are male. This gap rises even higher for TikTok, where 56.8% of its audience is female.
YouTube differs, however, in that its audience contains more men than women, at 56.6% male and 43.4% female.
