Global video streaming traffic reached a new high during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to the latest data from SimilarWeb.

Disney+ saw a peak in traffic in the week of March 23rd after launching in major European markets, rising 113.8% compared to the start of January. Growth then began to slow, with traffic in the last week of May up 16.2% compared to the start of the year.
