One-third (31%) of the online population has listened to a podcast in the past month, according to research across 20 markets from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism and YouGov.
However, this share is flat from last year as in-home consumption has grown but the daily commute, which is traditionally a key time for listening, has been disrupted.
