Mobile consumption has overtaken all other devices in Indonesia, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. Internet users spent over four and a half hours on their mobile device last year, the first time this has exceeded PC/laptop/tablet consumption and above the Asia Pacific average.
This follows strong and consistent increases in mobile consumption, recording a compound annual growth rate of 16.9% between 2012 and 2018. Time spent on other devices had fallen marginally by 2017 and registered its largest drop of 35 minutes last year.
