Despite strong mobile growth, online PC/laptop/tablet dominates in Germany

An overview of time spent online by device in Germany, 2012 to 2018.

Online mobile consumption reached one hour and 30 minutes in Germany this year, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. While this is an increase of 105.6% (46 minutes) from 2012, online mobile made up only one-third (32.7%) of total online consumption in H1 2018. Since its peak in 2013, PC/laptop/tablet has fallen 27 minutes to 3:06 (hours:minutes) but clearly remains the most used device for online time.
