A third of internet users have deployed a mobile ad-blocker in the last month

An overview of regional and global ad-blocking on PC/laptop and mobile devices.

Regional ad-blocking shows considerable variance across mobile but strong similarities across PC/laptop, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. Across all regions, mobile ad-blocking varied by 16.6 percentage points (pp) while PC/laptop only saw a difference of 2.4pp.

For mobile, Asia Pacific registered the greatest usage (38.4%), followed by Middle East & Africa (34.8%), Latin America (27.8%), North America (23.6%), and then Europe(21.8%).
