Over two-fifths of UK adults are planning to start their Christmas shopping in November or December, according to data from out-of-home agency Kinetic.
Over one-quarter (28%) of consumers say they plan to start in November, with a further 15% starting in December.
Consumers living in cities are most likely to start buying in December, with one-fifth (19%) planning for that month.
Younger adults are more likely to buy early – over one-half (56%) say they have already started or plan to begin in October.
