ITV saw advertising revenue return to relative normalcy in August and expects growth of 6% in November, according to the latest company reports. However, viewing habits proved less promising.
The UK's largest commercial broadcaster saw total advertising revenue from linear, online and sponsorship formats decline by 7% in the third quarter of 2020, to £372m. This was dragged down by a challenging July (-23%), no Love Island (which normally runs June to July) and a September that last year saw the Rugby World Cup.
