One-half of European consumers with a connected TV use it every day and over half use it as their main way of watching TV, according to research from video ad serving platform SpotX.
Usage is highest in Spain, where two-thirds (65%) of consumers with a connected TV device use it daily. This compares to 55% in Italy, 49% in the UK, 45% in France and falls to two-fifths (38%) in Germany.
Across the five countries surveyed, at least half of consumers use their connected TV as the main way of watching TV.
