Gamers more likely to trust influencer recommendations

An overview of consumer trust in influencer recommendations across 17 markets.

Gaming fans are more likely to trust influencer recommendations, according to research from YouGov.

Globally, 59% of adults who follow influencers say they trust the brand recommendations and advice given by influencers and this rises even higher for those who follow gaming influencers (66%).

In 13 of the 17 markets surveyed, gaming fans are more trusting of influencers than other fans. This suggests that gaming personalities can offer more potential benefits for brands compared to the average influencer.
