Consumers in Canada are trying news brands and retailers during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak but they're unsure whether this will continue after the outbreak. This is according to data from McKinsey & Company, surveying consumers at the start of May.
Nearly one-fifth (17%) of consumers have shopped for non-basics on a new website since COVID-19 began. However, just one-third (37%) of these consumers plan to continue this after the outbreak ends.
