Gorillas: The underdog & the independent – how speed beat spend

Gorillas, a grocery delivery app, promoted its service in New York, US, by launching a series of creative OOH ads that lined the streets, buses and grocery stores to show New Yorkers that they could be saving time grocery shopping by using its app.

Criterion Global, independent media agency known best for global expansion advertising, won gold twice at the prestigious Festival of Media North America awards, in which 94% of shortlisted entries were represented by network media agencies. Criterion Global’s gold prizes included “Best Launch or Relaunch Campaign,” and most notably, “Best Campaign by an Independent Media Buying Agency.”
