Market background

For years, the price of all plane tickets sold in Argentina had to respect an established minimum floor. This limited the entry of low-cost airlines, reduced the competitiveness of the industry and affected service accessibility.

With the elimination of this floor in August 2018, the country's airlines began to fight more aggressively through promotions, discounts, bonuses and constant advertising that sought to beat the competitors about to reach the market: low-cost airlines.
