In Vietnam, flu infects 1.8 million people every year, and thousands more cases go unrecorded. Seasonal diseases, such as H1N1, flu, and hand, foot and mouth disease, had also seen a sharp increase in the number of cases, in recent years.

However, a simple practice such as handwashing with soap, can prevent children from becoming infected.

Lifebuoy believes in staying one step ahead of infection.

The brand activated a real-time, and hyper-customised, infection alert system, that embraced the power of artificial intelligence and big data, in partnership with Google.

The system alerted mums whenever any disease outbreak happened in their region and provided them with helpful knowledge on sickness prevention, health and hygiene.
