US Gen Z teens are twice as likely to recall an ad on YouTube than TikTok

On average, 45% of teens (aged 13-17) in the US are likely to recall an ad seen on YouTube compared to 23.5% on TikTok. 

Gen Z teens (16-17 years old) in particular are twice as likely to recall an ad on YouTube than on TikTok, according to data from Precise TV. 

Six in ten teens choose to watch ads on YouTube rather than skip them, and 25% of teens see YouTube ads as the ‘best’ and ‘most engaging’ platform, compared to 18% for TikTok and 16% for Instagram.
